Based in New York, David Goldstein has been advising art collectors and investors since 2001. He buys and sells works by a wide

 

variety of Modern masters and Contemporary artists, and has worked as collection manager and curator for several private collections

 

and estates, including The Man Ray Trust.  He has arranged for important, privately owned works to be exhibited in museum shows

 

on American and European Modernism, Dada, Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism and Contemporary art.  In addition to advice

 

regarding the art market and the fine art of collecting, his services also include appraisals, research, the coordination of art

 

transport, museum-quality art conservation and photo-documentation.  David has arranged many art donations on behalf of 

 

private collections whose beneficiaries include the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

 

David is an alumnus of The School of Visual Arts and Long Island University, New York, where he studied painting,

 

photography and art history.  Examples of his own paintings, works on paper and assemblage are included in private,

 

corporate and museum collections, including the National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution,

 

Washington, DC, the Arkansas Art Center, Little Rock, the Weatherspoon Art Museum, University of North Carolina,

 

the Kramarsky Collection, New York, and the Progressive Corporation, Cleveland.
